Raging Horrormoans Description

(from the back of the book)

Raging Horrormoans is a collection of stories depicting my eighth grade view of an unfamiliar world. My inability to relate to or communicate with  peers, or horrormoaners as I called them, and my failure to understand their experiences are expressed through a series of short tales, to which I have added comments clarifying my thoughts and intent.

My view of the world was very black and white. It was filled with logic and devoid of all the seemingly strange and aberrant emotional behavior of my peers, who did not seem to care about logic. I did not know how to express what I was feeling at the time, and these stories are a result of my experiences.

Gain firsthand insight into the fascinating, exciting, and often confusing world of adolescence. Learn about how an eighth grader with Asperger syndrome* dealt with the challenges of going to school and everyday life. Parents, teachers, therapists, and teens and children affected by Asperger syndrome or other social/communication problems may benefit from the information provided here.
